1. It

‘It’, a movie released with two parts one in 2017 and 2019. The story of this movie revolves around 7 children who are constantly terrorized by an evil entity in the form of a Pennywise clown lurking around their lives, haunting every step they take. The part two of the movie encounters the evil clowns return and how it must be destroyed for good.

2. Fear street 1978

An adaptation from the OG movie fear street released in 2021, is story of a fun summer turning out to be horrific as it becomes a fight for survival as the killer manages to terrorize Camp Nightwing in the dark cursed town of Shadyside.

3. Insidious

A 2010 released horror induced movie Insidious is a story based on the lives of Josh and Renai who move into their new house looking for a fresh positive start to their lives which quickly goes down the hill as their son Dalton falls into a suspicious coma and paranormal activities start creeping up their lives.

4. Malignant
Malignant a 2021 released movie revolving around the life of a young women named Madison who is traumatized by multiple visions of murders of random strangers and how she manages to save the lives of those victims.

5. It comes at night

A horror/mystery genre movie released in the year 2017 is about an unknown apocalypse that falls upon two families who are forced to stay together to keep away from the threats lurking outside, but besides good intentions leads to distrust and paranoia.

6. Halloween

2018 released horror/thriller revolving around a narrow escape that occurred four decades ago wherein Laurie Strode has to come face-to-face with Michael Myers after he escapes a major captivity. It’s a drama revolving around Laurie facing her worst fears ever in order to put an end to his killing spree.

7. Hocus Pocus

Add on a sort of family/fantasy themed movie to your list with the addition of Hocus Pocus a 1993 released story of three witches resurrected to seek revenge and lay on terror after 300 years of silence.
