Netflix Original series Delhi Crime has won the Best Drama Series Award at the 48th International Emmy Awards. Starring Shefali Shah as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Vartika Chaturvedi, the show has been directed by Richie Mehta. An ecstatic Shefali took to Instagram to share her happiness, as she posted a video of the announcement and wrote: “OMGGGGGGGGGGGG OMGGGGGGGGGGGG OMGGGGGGGGGGGG”

With the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic, the 48th International Emmy Awards were held virtually for the first time, as TV actor Richard Kind hosted the ceremony live from a theatre in NYC, with no live audience.

Besides, Delhi Crime, the Amazon show Four More Shots Please was nominated for the Best Comedy series at the prestigious Emmys, while actor Arjun Mathur was nominated for the Best Actor Award for his performance in Made in Heaven.
