Sunflower is the story of a middle-class housing society in Mumbai called “SUNFLOWER” with quirky characters. From thrill, comedy and drama centred around the characters with their relatable stories, everything revolving around the housing society promises to take you on quite a roller-coaster ride.
Along with Sunil Grover as Sonu Singh, the 8-episode web series also features Ranvir Shorey as Inspector Digendra, his team-mate Girish Kulkarni as Inspector Tambe, Ashish Vidyarthi as Dilip Iyer, Mukul Chadda as Mr. Ahuja, Radha Bhatt as his wife Mrs. Ahuja joined by Ashwin Kaushal as Raj Kapoor, Shonali Nagrani as Mrs. Raj Kapoor and Saloni Khanna, amongst others.
Produced by Reliance Entertainment and Good Co., the series is written by Vikas Bahl and co-directed by Rahul Sengupta and Vikas Bahl.
Sunflower revolves around an ‘uncooperative’ society by the same name, and its quirky residents. But the common thread running between all of them is their mysterious traits. The story follows its residents’ quest towards making Sunflower the best housing society, until it gets embroiled in a murder investigation. Enter Shorey and Kulkarni who play cops, trying to uncover the layers of the whodunit.
Sunflower, a ZEE5 Original, is slated to premiere on 11th June 2021.
