From Andhadhun (2018), Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020) Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022), Drishyam 2 (2022) and now Crew (2024) —the two-time National Award winning actress has made a Goliath contribution to the Indian box office pie of the last six years. And, is in her own right considered a BO-juggernaut. So much so that even when she stars alongside major male actors, she is given special credence because of her overall contribution to the numbers.
Hits like Andhadhun, Drishyam and BB2 were spoken about as Tabu hits because she was the driving force behind the male protagonists. And in some cases, she was the protagonist! Yes, when it comes to numbers, Tabu’s certainly the juggernaut.
