Makers announced the new film to be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar on the eve of Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday
Thalapathy Vijay will soon be seen in an action thriller. The makers announced Thalapathy 65 yesterday (June 21) on the eve of the Tamil star’s birthday. Titled Beast the film is to be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. To celebrate the star’s birthday today (June 22) the makers unveiled a new poster.
Interestingly, the announcement of the film coincided with the director’s birthday yesterday. Pooja Hegde has been roped in opposite the star as the romantic interest. Vijay – who was last seen in Master – had signed Beast even before his last release. The film is being bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
The film had gone on the floors in April last year and the first schedule was shot in Georgia. Besides, Vijay and Pooja, the film also stars Aparna Das, Shine Tom Chacko and Yogi Babu in important roles.
