After a tremendous response to the Dasvi trailer, Abhishek Bachchan as Ganga Ram Chaudhary hits home with the first song released today
The Dasvi trailer and Abhishek Bachchan’s Ganga Ram Chaudhary have turned out to be quite a hit. Today the makers dropped their first song ‘Macha Macha’ featuring Abhishek in a fun mode. As a politician-turned-prisoner, Abhishek is seen showing off a few moves in front of his fellow prisoners. The song perfectly captures the entertaining vibe of the film, with Abhishek twirling his signature moustache.

What makes ‘Macha Macha’ even more enjoyable is a funky rap with a unique desi flavour. Mika Singh, Divya Kumar and Sachin-Jigar have lent their voice to the tune, with rap by Mellow D. The song has massive repeat value and immense “mass” appeal. Composed by Sachin-Jigar, the track’s lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Dasvi tells the story of an illiterate and corrupt politician who discovers the magic of education while in jail.
Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur among others, and is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bake My Cake Films, streaming on Jio Cinema and Netflix from 7th of April 2022.
