Avinash Tiwary’s birthday is hard to forget. Afterall, the Bulbbul star celebrates it with the whole nation on August 15. And while the actor loves his birthdays, he shares that he gets “anxiety attacks” on his big day!
Explaining further, he says, “Yes, I’m a bit weird with birthdays. I get anxiety attacks because everyone starts calling and I have a huge family. The calls start from midnight. So nobody ever forgets my birthday because it falls on August 15. I receive a lot of love and I hope it stays like this always.”
The Laila Majnu actor – who’s been receiving much praise for his latest outing as Satya in Anushka Sharma’s OTT production Bulbbul for Netflix – adds that the birthday is even more special this year, with so many interesting films on his platter and many more projects to look forward to. About celebrating his special day, Avinash reveals that he always spends his birthday with his parents. “My parents feel very happy that I spend the day every year with them, so my August 15th is devoted to the family. On 14th I chill with my friends, so that’s with them. But the best birthdays are when you’re working,” adds the birthday boy.
On the work-front, Avinash will soon resume shooting for Farhan Akhtar’s Dongri to Dubai in which he is expected to play underworld don Dawood (although he is tight-lipped about the role). Besides, the gangster drama, the actor also forward for the release of his thriller The Girl on the Train co-starring Parineeti Chopra and Aditi Rao Hydari and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
