Bollywood stunner Deepika Padukone and South star Prabhas are all set to star together in renowned South director Nag Ashwin’s ambitious sci-fi thriller. Said to be a futuristic sci-fi drama set against the backdrop of an imaginary third world war, the two superstars are touted to be seen in completely new avatars. The yet-untitled film is currently being referred to as Prabhas-21 and will be Prabhas’ fourth Pan-India venture after Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) and Saaho (2019).
The mega-budget multilingual film is expected to go on the floors early next year. The film will be the 50th-anniversary special venture for the production house Vyjayanthi Movies, which is one of the most iconic production companies in Telugu cinema. And if buzz is to be believed, the film will also be one of the most expensive films ever made. While the details are under wraps, the film’s pre-production is expected to start post the lockdown is eased off.
Nag Ashwin who is helming the project had recently directed the hit Mahanti. Meanwhile, the first poster look of the Prabhas-starrer Radhe Shyam was released recently.
