Pakistan Super League’s theme song also features Naseebo Lal and Young Stunners
Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) 2021 recently released theme song ‘Groove Mera’ is becoming quite a rage. The song features Pakistani pop singer Aima Baig, Naseebo Lal, and Young Stunners, and according to a statement by the Pakistan Cricket Board, the song refers to the ‘swing and feel of the movements of cricketers’.
The anthem is being much celebrated as it represents Pakistan’s musical diversity as well tapping regional folk, and hip-hop.
The video has been directed by Fida Moin and includes six leading cricketers – Shadab Khan (Islamabad United) Shan Masood (Multan Sultans), Sarfaraz Ahmed (Quetta Gladiators), Babar Azam (Karachi Kings), Shaheen Shah Afridi (Lahore Qalandars) and Wahab Riaz (Peshawar Zalmi).
