The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched its Ramadan Initiative, bringing the spirit of generosity to Dubai’s hardworking community. As part of this initiative, free Iftar meals will be distributed at key locations across the city, ensuring that bus drivers, laborers, truck drivers, and low-income individuals can break their fast with a warm and nourishing meal. Through this effort, RTA aims to support those who keep the city moving while embracing the values of compassion and togetherness during the holy month.

Iftar Sayim
Dubai Charity’s Ramadan project provides Iftar meals to those in need by setting up tables in mosques and underprivileged residential areas, both within and beyond the country.
Mawad-al-Rahman or Ramadan Tents are set up in many areas – public parks, near mosques, and in commercial areas – providing free Iftar meals as well.
Meals on Wheels
Home delivered meal program that delivers Iftar meals to elderly or disabled individuals at home who are unable to prepare or purchase for themselves.
It is expected to begin on the second week of Ramadan – supporting bus driver, delivery, and truck drivers including abra commuters and labor accommodations.
Ramadan Hero Meal Campaign
UAE has partnered with Islamic Affairs and the Charitable Activities Department in launching Hero Meal Campaign that will allow customers to provide meals for delivery riders throughout the Holy month. Customers can select their preferred restaurants from Talabat that includes the Hero Meals Collection.

Through this initiative, low-income families will receive essential food supplies with distribution of Nol cards.
