Rajinikanth’s latest movie, Annaatthe’s shooting had just begun when it came to a halt due to four crew members testing positive for the COVID-19 virus on December 23. However, the rest of the crew members and superstar Rajinikanth himself have tested negative for the same.
Rajinikanth started shooting his next schedule at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad last week. Thalaiva is said to return to Chennai soon since the shoot for the upcoming rural drama has been postponed. Sun Pictures announced the same in a tweet stating, “Announcement: During routine testing at #Annaathe shoot 4 crew members have tested positive for Covid19. Superstar @rajinikanth and other crew members have tested negative. To ensure utmost safety #Annaatthe shooting has been postponed.”
Rajini who recently turned 70 will be seen alongside Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Jackie Shroff and Khushbhu in Annaatthe. The megastar is set to announce the name of his political party on December 31, 2020.
