Get ready to witness 11 nights of colorful displays in Sharjah next month
Your eyes are in for a treat! The Sharjah Light Festival is back and will be held for 11 nights. The colorful projections and music is something every resident looks forward to.
The first and only of its kind in the region, the Sharjah Light Festival has been running for over ten years. The 2022 Sharjah Light Festival will begin on Sunday February 9 to Thursday February 20, and is organized by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority.
Not only are the designs inspired by stories, traditions and local culture, it also showcases the rich heritage and historical monuments of the emirate. The festival attracts thousands of visitors and up to 20 locations each year. The festival uses energy-saving lighting technology and the projectors used at the festival have passed certification for environmental compliance.
International and local artists, light technicians and musicians collaborate each year to showcase the achievements of the emirate. You surely do not want to miss this spectacular show!
