Since henna application is a cherished Eid tradition, authorities are leaving no stone unturned—or rather, no dye unchecked—to keep harmful chemicals out of the mix; the measures taken are:
- Henna products must be Montaji registered – Dubai’s go-to system for tracking safe and approved cosmetic products.
- Strict hygiene checks – Because no one wants a side of bacteria with their henna design.
- Salon staff must follow sterilization protocols – Clean tools, disposable alternatives, and top-notch hygiene are non-negotiable.
