Birthday wishes have been pouring in for OTT’s reigning star Pratik Gandhi today (April 29). However, the Scam 1992 actor – known for his powerhouse performances in Gujarati theatre and films – revealed to us that his birthday is actually a day earlier on April 28! Yes, the actor shared that the internet had got his date wrong and that led to this confusion of dates.
However, Pratik insists that he’s just so overwhelmed with all the love and affection coming his way that he’s never bothered to clarify or get it rectified. Celebrating his birthday in lockdown he will be bringing it in with his family.
Interestingly, today is also Scam 1992 director Hansal Mehta’s birthday and wishing him Pratik even shared a heartfelt post. “Wishing you a very happy birthday sir @hansalMehta Thank you for being who you are and creating magic in cinema, television, ott and most importantly in lives of so many of us. Love and lots of love,” wrote Pratik.
Meanwhile, the talented actor has a busy year ahead. Currently shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s web-series Six Suspects, Pratik has also signed Hindi films including one with Taapsee Pannu.
“All shooting for now has been suspended due to lockdown and Covid related protocols, but I will start shooting soon again,” shared Pratik.
