The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) is making waves in the world of currency with the launch of its new Dh100 banknote – now in durable polymer! This fresh note isn’t just a pretty face; it’s packed with cutting-edge designs and top-tier security features.

The new polymer Dh100 will join its paper predecessor in circulation. Banks and exchange houses have been given the green light to update their machines, ensuring smooth sailing as both paper and polymer notes coexist seamlessly.

The note’s design is a visual treat, blending various shades of red while keeping the familiar color tones of the current Dh100. The UAE nation brand takes center stage, with intricate drawings and high-tech printing techniques bringing it all to life.

On the front, you’ll find the Umm Al Quwain National Fort, a perfect blend of heritage and modernity. Flip it over, and you’re greeted by the Port of Fujairah, one of the UAE’s busiest shipping hubs. Rounding out the features is the Etihad Rail, a sleek network connecting the seven emirates and stretching to the GCC, reinforcing the UAE’s role in regional connectivity and sustainable growth.
