Amazon Prime Video announced the addition of Gilmore Girls alum Kelly Bishop to the ensemble cast of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4. Kelly has joined the comedy series in a guest-starring role.

There’s a lot to love about the comedy series, and soon there will be even more. Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season four has been filming in New York City since January.
It comes as no surprise to fans that Amazon renewed the hit series. Marvelous Mrs. Maisel earned two Golden Globe nominations (for best comedy and for Rachel) and SAG mentions for best comedy series and best actress in a comedy (Rachel and Alex Borstein, who already won an Emmy).
If you haven’t been following the series, it tells the story of Miriam “Midge” Maisel, a 1950s Jewish housewife with two kids who decides she wants to be a comedienne.
In season three, Midge takes America by storm with her comedy routine while on tour with singer Shy Baldwin. Back home in New York, her ex-husband Joel Maisel (Michael Zegen) takes care of their children, Ethan and Esther, while preparing to open up a club and Midge’s parents, the Weissmans, move in with Midge’s ex-in-laws, the Maisels. And yes, there is some unfinished business with the swoon-worthy Benjamin (Zachary Levi)…
